The following courses are conducted at our institute. 

A) Diploma in Fire and Safety Engineering  (DFSE) for regular students.

Duration: One year

The medium of instruction is English/Malayalam. 

Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification for admission is S.S.L.C passed and good physical & mental fitness. 

The Fire fighting technology and industrial safety management are included in the syllabus. 

This will give double benefit to the trainees to be placed for a job. 

The contents of the course are

(a)  Theory

(b)  Practical

(c)   Fire station visit and familiarisation of fire fighting tenders

(d)  High rise building training & Industrial unit visit.  

Theory : Includes Chemistry & Physics of Fire, Hydraulics  and Water supply, Electricity related fire hazards, First aid, Industrial Safety and Management,  Aircraft and Ship fire, Advanced Fire Detection and Alarm system, Practical Fireman-ship and Industrial Security Service. Chemical, Mechanical and Electronics Engineering  (Basics) are also  included in the course which is a special advantage of the course. 

b) Fire and Safety Engineering (FSE)

Duration: 6 months   

c) Basic Course of Fire  (BCF)

Duration: 3 months

(b and c are conducted as per requirement)  

d) Corporate Training Programme

Duration :  3 hours
